By INU Staff

INU - German Chancellor Angela Merkel has openly disagreed with a call from her Foreign Minister, Heiko Maas, for the European Union to set up an independent payment system in order to save the nuclear deal with Iran.

Merkel told reporters on Wednesday: “We have some problems in our dealings with Iran, no question, on the other hand we know that on questions of terrorist financing, for example, SWIFT is very important.”

Iran Lobby Tries to Undermine Trump Administration’s Advances on Iran Issue

By INU Staff

INU- When former U.S. President Barack Obama was in office, he appeased the Iranian regime in the hope that it would lure them into signing a nuclear deal. He was adamant that the Iranian regime’s behaviour would soften and that its belligerence would calm down. In order to sweeten Iran up for nuclear deal negotiations, Obama turned a blind eye to several major issues including its criminal and vile mistreatment of the people of Iran, especially women and political opponents. He also turned a blind eye to its meddling in the region and its fuelling of conflicts and its development of its ballistic missile program (including several test launches). Obama also ignored the fact that the Iranian regime was funding and supporting terrorist groups in the region, including the Lebanese Hezbollah, and its propping up of the Assad regime in Syria. And to top it all off, he sent aircraft loaded with cash in exchange for American hostages.

By INU Staff

INU- In a previous episode of BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, a professor of American studies in Tehran called in to rant about Donald Trump’s re-imposition of sanctions on Iran and the presenters did not challenge their assumptions that America and Israel caused all of the Middle East. This is yet more evidence that the BBC is locked into its narrative that the Iranian Regime is legitimate and that Trump’s decision to pull out of the nuclear deal was wholly wrong.

By INU Staff

INU - Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah’s Secretary General, has spoken out about how he hopes that the Iranian uprising will not end in the overthrow of the Regime and the US sanctions will not lead to a change in the rule of the mullahs, describing the Regime as “strong, firm and stable” and the “strongest in the region”.

A collaborative attempt to build a new system for global financial transactions to become “sanctions resistant.”

By INU Staff

INU - According to a recent announcement, Iran plans to develop its own national cryptocurrency. This move is likely an attempt to circumvent the reimposed sanctions suspended by the U.S. as part of the Iran nuclear deal.
